The Project “Promoting Gender Equality through Enhancing the Economic Effectiveness of Agricultural Production and Tourism Development in the two provinces of Lao Cai and Son La” (GREAT) aimed to promote gender equality and women’s economic empowerment, especially for ethnic minority women. The sub-project “Thải Giàng Phố Agricultural Tourism Village – Bắc Hà Flower Valley” was part of this overall project with the following objectives:
- Expanding investment and enhancing business capacity to attract tourists to visit the Bắc Hà Flower Valley destination managed by Việt Tú company.
- Strengthening Việt Tú’s responsible agricultural tourism business linkages with the community, contributing to increased revenue and profit for the company.
In this project, The Consultative Institute for Socio-Economic Development of Rural and Mountainous Areas (CISDOMA) provided technical assistance to Việt Tú and closely coordinated with the company to organize project activities.
