Mr. Truong Quoc Can graduated with a Master’s degree from the University of the Philippines in 2003. He has over 20 years of work experience in various environments, including research institutes, international and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Asian countries such as the Philippines, Laos, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

Mr. Can has been directly involved in and coordinated many research and surveys related to fields such as:

  • Rural development

  • Sustainable agriculture

  • Poverty analysis

  • Climate change

  • Environmental resource management

  • Disaster risk

  • Public services

  • Education

He has extensive practical experience in developing (medium- to long-term) development programs and organizational development strategies for NGOs and networks.

Mr. Can has also been collaborating with state agencies in analyzing and formulating policies in various development fields such as food security, education, poverty reduction, climate change, and natural resource management at the national and international levels. He has achieved notable successes in policy advocacy.

NGUYEN ANH TUAN

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Development from Ateneo de Manila University, the Philippines. Before working in the development sector, he accumulated rich experience in Education and Tourism.

He has worked at several international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as the Australian Foundation for the Peoples of Asia and the Pacific (AFAP) in Vietnam, LienAID, and ActionAID in Vietnam, where he was responsible for developing, coordinating, managing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating many international aid programs funded by AUSAID, DFID, DANIDA, and others.

With over 17 years of experience in various fields, Mr. Tuan possesses extensive expertise in:

  • Applying participatory and rights-based approaches.

  • Designing, implementing, and managing projects with aid capital up to one million USD.

  • Seeking and maintaining partnerships from central to local levels.

  • Fundraising, research, and policy advocacy.

Mr. Tuan has a profound understanding of Vietnam’s administrative structure and political system, and development issues such as:

  • Climate Change

  • Clean Water and Environmental Sanitation (WASH)

  • Good Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility (Social Monitoring and School Governance tools)

  • Food Security

  • Education

  • HIV/AIDs

  • Children’s Rights

Furthermore, he is strong in leadership, management, communication, and report writing skills.

DAO NGOC NINH

Mr. Dao Ngoc Ninh graduated with a Master’s degree from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in 2008.

Throughout his career, he has built a wealth of development experience through many years of service for various international organizations in the fields of development project management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), capacity building, disaster prevention and control, climate change adaptation, and communication.

He has been involved in designing and developing numerous documents for international organizations, such as:

  • The National Action Strategy for ActionAid International Vietnam (2007).

  • The Disaster Prevention and Control Guidelines Handbook for district and commune-level officials for ChildFund Australia (2013).

  • The Post-Typhoon Haiyan Recovery Strategy (2014) for ChildFund Philippines, among others.

Regarding capacity building, he is an experienced trainer on sustainable development tools, including:

  • Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA).

  • Participatory Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment (PVCA).

  • Communication for Development (C4D) tools.

  • Fundraising skills.

  • Disaster Management Cycle (DMC), and more.

PHAN THI HANH

Ms. Phan Thi Hanh has held the position of Chief Accountant at CISDOMA since May 2016. Ms. Hanh graduated from the National Economics University, specializing in Accounting.

Before working at CISDOMA, she had over 10 years of experience working in the Program Management Unit of ActionAid Vietnam, serving as a Finance/Program Officer. During her time there, Ms. Hanh accumulated extensive experience and deep understanding in the fields of accounting and financial management.

With her enthusiasm, dedication, and devotion to her work, she consistently upholds the professional ethics of a financial manager, emphasizing transparency and accountability.

Ms. Le Thu Ngoc graduated from the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, majoring in International Economics. Before working at CISDOMA, she had over 10 years of experience working in the field of finance and accounting at various domestic and international organizations. Simultaneously, she actively participated in social activities.

Her career has also helped her expand her relationships with friends in many places in Vietnam and abroad. With her careful, enthusiastic, and honest nature, she wishes to contribute more in the role of an accountant for projects related to women’s rights, children’s rights, and social welfare.

NGUYEN THI THANH NHA

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha graduated from the Vietnam National University of Agriculture in 2007, specializing in Rural Development and Agricultural Extension.

She has 14 years of experience working in the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) environment in roles such as project officer and researcher, focusing on development sectors like Gender, Rights, Grassroots Democracy, Livelihoods, Public Administrative Services, Organizational Assessment, Health, and Education.

She is experienced in designing and implementing projects using the logical framework related to livelihoods, raising public awareness, strengthening the capacity of community organizations, and evidence-based policy advocacy.

She has extensive experience in designing qualitative research tools and conducting consultation and research activities at the community level. She is proficient in using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) tools and effectively understands and applies the rights-based approach, participatory approach, and gender integration in development projects.

As someone responsible and passionate about community development work, she engages in development activities with the aspiration of living in a better society.

NGUYEN DUC ANH

Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh is currently a Program Officer at CISDOMA, holding a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Business Administration.

He has 4 years of experience working in the global spice value chain, focusing on pepper, cinnamon (cassia), and coffee, serving as an implementer and assistant project coordinator at IDH – the Sustainable Trade Initiative (Netherlands).

Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh was a Young Expert in the Agrofood sector under the YEP (Young Expert Programme) sponsored by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NFP, and NWP. Within this program framework, he:

  • Supported the EU-funded project for the pepper sector in Vietnam.

  • Worked closely with public-private partners and relevant research agencies.

  • Promoted sector dialogue.

  • Supported field activities in the Central Highlands.

  • Contributed to knowledge development and sharing within and outside the program.

His expertise focuses on sustainable production, environmental impact, and climate change, with the goal of increasing income for farm households and creating long-term, positive impacts for Vietnam’s spice sector.

At CISDOMA, Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh has been implementing projects funded by Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World), including the project “Agroecological transition for improved livelihoods of ethnic minorities in the Northern Upland of Vietnam.”

This project focuses on:

  • Promoting agroecological transition within the Northwest cinnamon (cassia) value chain.

  • Supporting ethnic minority communities to adopt sustainable farming practices.

  • Enhancing production and management capacity.

  • Improving livelihoods.

  • Strengthening the protection of forest resources and the natural environment.

NGUYEN TUAN MINH

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh is currently an Information Technology – Digital Communication Intern, pursuing a degree in Multimedia Technology.

Minh participates in supporting the unit’s activities related to:

  • System development

  • Content management

  • Implementation of digital solutions

During his work, Minh gains practical experience in a professional environment, collaborating with various departments to support project deployment and ensure work efficiency.
