From November 2016 to April 2018, The Consultative Institute for Socio-Economic Development of Rural and Mountainous Areas (CISDOMA) implemented the project “Strengthening Land Rights of Ethnic Minority Women through Legal Aid,” funded by the Mekong Region Land Governance (MRLG) Program.
The project aimed to “Ensure and strengthen women’s land rights through the development and piloting of a model for consulting support and providing legal information at the commune level for ethnic minority women.” The project was implemented in 14 communes across 2 districts, Da Bac and Kim Boi, of Hoa Binh province, with a total budget of $74,987.
CISDOMA’s roles included: (1) Overall project coordination, (2) Direct implementation of capacity building activities and model development, and (3) Financial and activity management.
