The Bloomberg Philanthropies (BP) charity foundation planned to expand its support for child care and survival skills activities to address the issue of child drowning in Vietnam.
CISDOMA collaborated with the Synergos Institute to conduct an “Initial Study to Develop a Drowning Prevention Program.”
Timeframe: August 2017 to January 2018
Purpose: This study aimed to develop a sustainable strategy for the Bloomberg-funded drowning prevention program in Vietnam.
CISDOMA’s Services:
- Researching and providing practical lessons from social programs, community child care programs, and survival swimming in Vietnam.
- Working with the team to develop hypotheses for testing and experimentation to sustain the drowning prevention program.
- Working with the international expert team to develop clear research and interview questions and an analytical framework to synthesize information and lead to a clear outcome.
- Reviewing stakeholders, identifying key organizations involved in drowning prevention, community child care programs, and survival swimming skills.
