The Institute of Research for Development (IRD) is implementing new initiatives, such as establishing a link between Organic Matter Management and ECOFILTER through the replication of a single experiment at different sites. Within the framework of this project, The Consultative Institute for Socio-Economic Development of Rural and Mountainous Areas (CISDOMA) implemented the following activities:

  1. Mobilizing local staff – who have good relationships with and influence on local farmers and are capable of accompanying interns and using data collection tools.
  2. Supporting farmer households in organizing and applying the biofilter system under real-world conditions.
  3. Collecting water samples and measuring water quality.
